Robert Cook - President & CEO
Rob is a 25+ year veteran of the Pet Industry who owned and operated pet stores for more than 15 years. He is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and completed 5 years of animal emergency medicine. He has served on the board of NexPet, which is the largest consortium of pet store ownersin North America. He is a regular speaker at trade shows on topics that range from "Utilizing Technology to Improve Your Bottom Line" to "Using Social Median and Internet Marketing to Grow Your Business." Rob is also actively consulted by trade magazines for input and supplies technology related articles for print. Since founding Pinogy, the company has grown very quickly into the premier POS system for the Pet Industry as well as the go to provider highly complex custom software applications and websites. Rob's extensive experience within the Pet Industry and technology background gives him a clear vision and overall direction that allows the company to continue to offer cutting edge programs.
Nicholas Cook - Chief Technology Officer
Nicholas is responsible for driving the underlying technology strategy for Pinogy. Nicholas has capitalized on 20+ years of Internet and Product Management experience to bring Pinogy's products from inception to deliverable solutions. His work includes production systems at more than 200 companies and government bodies including 16 of the "Fortune 100" companies. For more than a decade Nick managed teams and systems for CDNOW and Anacomp before co-founding Pinogy. Nicholas brings with him a clear understanding of technology and has the experience necessary to continue assembling the team to ensure Pinogy remains a generation ahead of any potential competitors.
Doug Sands - Chief Information Officer
Doug has worked in IT for over 35 years, in positions ranging from software engineering of capital equipment for the printing industry, where he developed applications, both the GUIs and the machine controls, to teaching networking as a Novell CNI, to network administration, to a 12 year stint as CIO for Royal Pet Supplies (now Phillips Pet Food & Supplies), one of the largest independent pet supplies distributors on the east coast. His work at Royal included building a motivated competent IT team, migrating the company to a new WMS system, overseeing development of its web site, and managing and organizing the company's data for easy access to performance metrics.
