This team has many years experience in the Pet, Veterinary, Technology and Retail industries. The management team has developed a company that is founded on customer service excellence and delivering superior results through collaboration with Pet Industry Suppliers and Retailers.
Robert Cook - CEO
Rob is a 19 year veteran of the Pet Industry who owned and operated pet stores from 1996 to 2008. He is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and did 5 years of animal emergency medicine. He has served on the board of NexPet, which is the largest consortium of pet store owners in North America. He is a regular speaker at trade shows on topics that range from "Utilizing Technology to Improve Your Bottom Line" to "Using Social and Internet Marketing to Grow Your Business" (Scheduled for HH Backer Spring Show, Friday, April 23 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.) Rob is also actively consulted by trade magazines for input and supplies technology related articles for print. In 2004, Rob started the Pet Retail Group which provided Kiosk, Special Order, Catalog Management and Website ordering capabilities before acquiring the company that became known as Pinogy and the 360PET POS system. Since that time the company has grown very quickly into the premier POS system for the Pet Industry. Rob's extensive experience within the Pet Industry gives him a clear vision and overall direction that allows the company to continue to offer cutting edge programs for independent retailers.
On November 16, 2009 Pinogy re-launched the "360Pet Microchip Enrollment Program" as LostMyPet.com and MyPetTrainer.com. These two programs were designed to allow retailers to offer additional services to their customers and enhanced the customer's experience with the store. These programs have the support of the American Kennel Club, distributors, and major manufacturers.
Nicholas Cook - CTO
Nicholas is responsible for driving the underlying technology strategy for 360Pet. Nicholas has capitalized on 19 years of Internet and Product Management experience to bring 360Pet's products from inception to deliverable solutions. His work includes production systems at more than 200 companies and government bodies including 16 of the "Fortune 100" companies. For more than a decade Nick managed teams and systems for CDNOW and Anacomp before co-founding 360Pet. Nicholas brings with him a clear understanding of technology and has the experience necessary to continue assembling the team to ensure 360pet remains a generation ahead of any potential competitors.
Gyy Sandvik - VP of Operations
Gyy is responsible for the implementation of new systems and services. His experience is wide and far reaching. He has worked in the pet industry as well as several other industries. During his time on the software development team for the glass industry, he help design and implement the interface that allow glass shops to directly process claims with insurance companies. Gyy is a volunteer Firefighter and Senior Instructor with Fairfax County Fire & Rescue. He also trains firefighters on how to work and interface with K-9 search operations. He also helped develop the Fire & Rescue curriculum for Fairfax County. Previously, Gyy was a member of the Technical Rescue Operations Team who works in conjunction with the K-9 search task force. He has trained K-9 Sentry dogs for C&W Services and worked with has worked with K-9 handler training. Gyy is now focusing on the creation of the training curriculum for shelters, veterinarians, and retailers as part of the MyPetTrainer.com program.
